POTLUCK & BRING A FRIEND SUNDAY: Rev. Mary Grigolia Speaks – Gathering of the Waters + WORKSHOP

Join us for our first official service of the new congregational year! Bring a friend and bring water from your most meaningful experience, challenge, or insight of the summer. (It’s okay to bring ‘symbolic’ water. And we’ll have water for those who forget.) Pouring the waters into a common bowl, we deepen our sense of community as we listen to one another’s meaningful moments. Rev. Mary Grigolia facilitates the service, appropriate for all ages. (10:30-11:30am)

Bring a dish to share for the potluck lunch following the service! We encourage you to stay for the mini-workshop after (12:15-1:45).

Mini-Workshop: Ready, Set, Goals! What’s energizing you at the Fellowship? What is the biggest challenge you see for the Fellowship? What is Life asking of us as a congregation? We’ll reflect, share, and listen to each other. And decide our goals for the year (which will inform our Sunday mini-workshops and more). Facilitated by Rev. Mary Grigolia.

Fair Trade Coffee & Tea will also be for sale before and after the service to benefit the fellowship and the well being of small farm cooperatives & communities. Find us on the Lower Level of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 431 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio.

  1. I don’t see the date listed on the invitation. People may try to show up this Sunday. It’s Sept. 9, right?
