POTLUCK & BRING A FRIEND SUNDAY: Rev. Mary Grigolia Speaks – It Takes a Post-Post-Modern Village… + WORKSHOP

Join the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Erie County on the Lower Level of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 431 Columbus Avenue in Sandusky, Sunday, October 7 at 10:30am. Rev. Mary Grigolia will be leading the congregation in exploring what ‘covenant’ means for 21st century, interdependent, differentiated individuals – the sacred ground of Unitarian Universalism. There will also be a child dedication during the service.

Fair Trade Coffee & Tea will also be for sale before and after the service to benefit the fellowship and the well being of small farm cooperatives & communities.

Bring a dish to share for the potluck lunch following the service! We encourage you to stay for the mini-workshop after (12:15-1:45).

In this workshop (which is part of an exploration going on in the Unitarian Universalist Association nationally), we will explore the changing religious and spiritual landscape and its implications for UU’ism and our congregation.

THE DIGITAL DIVIDE, PART 2 (Nov. 4): In the second workshop, we’ll explore the Digital Divide and ways to reach out to the digitally savvy who share our values and approach to religion/spirituality.

NEXT STEPS FOR GROWING, PART 3 (Dec. 2): In the third workshop, we’ll explore next steps for growing the congregation and beyond, cultivating a UU movement in Erie County.
