This Sunday's Service and Workshop! The First Principle- The inherent worth & dignity of EVERY person.

Sunday Service, October 6 – Individual Inherent Worth – The first UU principle declares that every person has inherent worth and dignity. How would your life be different if you saw the worth and dignity of every person, including yourself? Who’s inside your circle of worth? Who’s not? (Part of a series on the principles) Service led by Rev. Mary Grigolia.

Mini-Workshop, October 6 – Applying the 1st Principle. Where do we shine? Where do we have the deepest challenges living from the first principle? What about in the congregation? In our families, at school, or at work? How might we support one another in living into the 1st principle? Mini-workshop facilitated by Rev. Mary

This Sunday features our very own Skip Oliver, who will be presenting “Our First War of Choice.” For those of you who do not know Skip, he’s a smart guy. He’s a professor emeritus of political science at Heidleberg, a sailor, a veteran, and a writer. In fact, all of these professions came together in conglomeration over Labor Day weekend when he participated in the War of 1812 Battle of Lake Erie re-enactment.
